Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing Announces First Shipment of Solar Modules Valued at $2,475,671 From a Contract Valued at $4,801,580

SAN BRUNO, CA and SHANGHAI, CHINA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 9, 2008 -- Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing USA, Inc. (OTC BB: WEMU.OB), a U.S.-based Chinese manufacturing company for the customers in the industries of aerospace, wireless telecommunications, medical equipment, automobiles and solar energy, today announced that the company received, in March, a solar module contract valued at EUR 3,057,166 (US$4,801,580) as per exchange rate closed on April 8, 2008 from one of the Europe's biggest end-user of solar energy products. Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing USA also announced that it has successfully completed a first shipment of 6 containers of solar modules for this customer, amounting to US$2,475,671 on March 29, 2008.
