Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing USA, Inc. Announces Record Revenues and Profit for the First Quarter of 2008

SAN BRUNO, CA and SHANGHAI, CHINA--(MARKET WIRE)--May 21, 2008 -- Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing USA, Inc. ("Worldwide") (OTC BB: WEMU.OB) (www.wwmusa.com), a U.S.-based China engineering and manufacturing company of mechanical, electronics products and solar modules, today announced record revenues and profit for the first quarter ending March 31, 2008. Revenues for the quarter were $5,404,083 compared to revenues of $2,786,799 for the same period in 2007. This increase of $2,617,284, or approximately 93.9%, was the result of an increase in orders in our energy division where we engage in the manufacturing of solar modules. Net income before tax for the quarter was $218,923 compared to a profit of $117,311 for the three months ended March 31, 2007. The increase of $101,612 or approximately 86.6% was the result of new orders for our energy division. Earnings per share for the quarter were $.11 compared to $.05 for the March quarter in 2007. Additionally, the company had a non-cash charge of $110,000 for stock based compensation.
