Vertical Branding Creates New Division to Focus on Eco-Friendly Products with Strong Value Propositions

Company Secures Exclusive U.S. Rights to Product Portfolio of UK-based Ecozone Ltd., a Leading Provider of "Green" Household Products

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vertical Branding, Inc. (OTC BB: VBDG.OB) announced today that it has created a new division, Econology Advantage™, formed to identify, develop and market eco-friendly consumer products. Vertical Branding plans to leverage its existing capabilities and success in bringing high-quality yet affordable household products to market in the rapidly expanding and increasingly important "green" goods category. The Company believes it is uniquely positioned to address and further cultivate demand in the mass consumer market for products that make economic as well as environmental sense.

Certain Vertical Branding offerings already feature eco-friendly attributes, including the company's Zorbeez line of biodegradable, reusable, super-absorbent cloths that are a cost-saving substitute for paper towels, and the SteamBuddy, a versatile, lightweight, handheld steam cleaner that is a low-cost alternative to chemical-laden dry cleaning.

In addition to three new proprietary products in development within the Econology Advantage™ Division, Vertical Branding has signed an agreement with U.K.-based Ecozone Ltd. for exclusive marketing and distribution rights within the United States for three of Ecozone's premier products. In addition, Vertical Branding will have a right of first refusal on U.S. distribution of all other Ecozone products, existing or new, during the term of the agreement.
